Priscilla Presley has challenged her daughter Lisa Marie’s will, calling her signature on the estate papers ‘invalid.’
Priscilla filed court documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, January 27, in which she contested that a previously added 2016 amendment was invalid. The filing alleged that Priscilla and the late singer’s former business manager Barry Siegel were initially named as co-trustees before a late addition removed their names in favor of her children Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough.

Under the will terms, the 33-year-old actor Riley Keough is now the sole trustee since her brother’s death by suicide in 2020.
But Priscilla is challenging the “authenticity and validity” of Lisa Marie’s signature approving the trustee change, which “appears inconsistent with her usual and customary signature,” notes the court filing.
In addition, the filing claims the following about the amendment document: It was “never delivered” to Priscilla during Lisa Marie’s lifetime (as required by “express terms” of the trust agreement), it misspells Priscilla’s name, and it wasn’t witnessed or notarized making the change an “invalid modification.” She actively seeks a court order “determining that the purported 2016 amendment is invalid, confirming the validity and existence of the restated 2010 trust, and confirming that petitioner is a current trustee of the trust.”

The legal drama comes two weeks back after Lisa Marie, who was the only child of Elvis Presley, passed away due to a cardiac arrest, in early January. After Riley, Lisa Marie also has 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley who she shared with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
