Andrew Lloyd Webber announced on March 18. 2023, the death of his eldest son, Nicholas Lloyd Webber. Nicholas was reportedly hospitalized after he was in a critically ill state as he was fighting gastric cancer for 18 months.
Nicholas died at Basingstoke Hospital after one week of hospitalisation, at age 43.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has been married three times and has a large family.
Sarah Hugill (1971-83)
His first wife was Sarah Hugill, whom he married on July 24, 1971. They had two children together, a daughter named Imogen Lloyd Webber, who was born on March 31, 1977, and a son named Nicholas Lloyd Webber, who was born on July 2, 1979. Their relationship ended with a divorce.
Unfortunately, Nicholas passed away on March 25, 2023.

Sarah Brightman (1984-1990)
Lloyd Webber married Sarah Brightman on March 22, 1984, after his divorce from Hugill in 1983. She went on to star in his famous musical The Phantom of the Opera, and they remained married until their divorce on January 3, 1990. However, they have continued to work together and have maintained a close friendship.
Madeleine Gurdon (1991-present)
Lloyd Webber’s third wife is Madeleine Gurdon, whom he married on February 9, 1991, in Westminster. They have three children together, all of whom were born in London.

Their first son, Alastair Adam Lloyd Webber, was born on May 3, 1992, followed by their second son, William Richard Lloyd Webber, who was born on August 24, 1993. Their daughter, Isabella Aurora Lloyd Webber, was born on April 30, 1996.
In addition to his successful career in the entertainment industry, Lloyd Webber and Gurdon also share a passion for horses. In 1992, they founded the Watership Down Stud, and in 1996, they purchased the Kiltinan Castle Stud in County Tipperary, Ireland, to further expand their equestrian holdings.
