An increasing number of people have taken to social media after mainstream outlets like C-SPAN, CNN, and MSNBC declined to cover House Oversight Committee’s press conference on Wednesday, where the committee declared that bank records show that “the Biden family, their associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals and their companies.”

Fox News was one prominent right-wing news outlet that covered the press conference. In the conference, Oversight Committee Chair James Comer alleged that the Biden family and associates received millions of dollars from foreign nationals and their companies in Romania and China while President Joe Biden was vice president during the Obama White House regime as part of an influence-peddling scheme. He also accused Biden of lying about his family receiving money from China.

Meanwhile, people were infuriated at the fact that left-leaning mainstream media refused to cover the conference. Most of them were also questioning C-SPAN’s decision not to cover the conference as it was considered to be an unbiased outlet.

“C-Span has declined to cover the House Oversight Committee press conference this morning on Biden family influence peddling and money laundering on C-Span, C-Span 2 or C-Span 3 and instead covered a press appearance on the debt ceiling by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer,” one user wrote.

Another said, “C-Span used to be nonpartisan. They would cover everything. Now they only cover pro-regime propaganda.”

Here are a few more reactions criticizing CPAN:

“I want to be clear, this committee is investigating President Biden and his family’s shady business deals that capitalize on Joe Biden’s public office and risks our country’s national security,” Comer said.

The committee has not, however, uncovered any evidence that directly linked the president to any foreign business dealings.

The memo justified the committee’s investigation. It stated that because Biden isn’t required to file financial disclosures for immediate family members, the POTUS has been making misleading statements about the source of his family’s income.
