Former Vice President Mike Pence has filed for his nomination, declaring his campaign for president in 2024 on Monday. Recently, Pence posted his presidential campaign video on Twitter. The video attracted enormous attention and was heavily trolled by Trump supporters.

Mike Pence was an ally of former President Donald Trump. Pence’s nomination can be looked at as he is standing against his former boss Donald Trump. Though there is a long list of strong candidates who have shown their interest in the 2024 US elections.

With this video, which he released on his birthday, Pence has formally launched his bid for the Republican nomination. He released the video and wrote, “I believe in the American people, and I have faith God is not done with America yet. Together, we can bring this Country back, and the best days for the Greatest Nation on Earth are yet to come! 🇺🇸 #Pence2024.”
As the video surfaced on Twitter, many Trump supporters lashed out at the former vice president. Several criticized his nominations, calling him a “traitor”.
One user criticizing his bid tweeted, “TRAITOR !!!! You pence are a p.o.s.”
“Did you forget that Brutus did not become the emperor after backstabbing Julius Caesar? He committed suicide within 2 years after betraying his boss.”, another user tweeted.
Another user wrote, “The American people do not believe in you. You failed to stand up against the biggest traitor in US history.”

Several Twitter users targeted the former VP for his tenure during Trump’s administration. One user wrote, “You never defended America or came clean when Trump was lying and you knew he was lying you knew he was dirty and couldn’t be trusted, you’ll be just as sneaky dirty & non-truthful just like Trump was and still is. You’re a definite no mr pence.”
