Shah Rukh Khan is rumoured to appear in Atlee’s next film, which will also feature Nayanthara. Despite the rumours, SRK went on to laud Atlee’s latest flick Beast, which stars Thalapathy Vijay.

Shah Rukh Khan has not starred in any films recently, he made the official announcement of his upcoming movie Pathan also starring Deepika Padukone just before they flew to Spain to film a special song.

While fans waited for more information, rumours circulated that Shah Rukh had signed two more films with Rajkummar Hirani and Tamil filmmaker Atlee. There has been no news on any of them, but SRK has been photographed with Atlee on several occasions. Nayantara is believed to play the lead, and photographs from the filming schedule surfaced on the internet during the pandemic.
Shah Rukh then shared the Hindi trailer for Atlee’s next film, Beast, starring Thalapathy Vijay. In the kindest possible tone, SRK stated, “Sitting with @Atlee_dir who is as big a fan of @actorvijay as I am. Wishing the best for the beast to the whole team… trailer looks meaner…. Leaner… stronger!!”

Shah Rukh was last seen in Zero, alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Despite its excellent ensemble, the picture bombed at the box office and was panned by both fans and reviewers. Before the lockdown, SRK chose to take a break from the spotlight and spend time with his family. He has special sequences in Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 too.
