Indian army on Monday made available its critical rolling stocks for the transportation of trucks carrying liquid medical oxygen, reports ANI.
Indian railways had issued a formal request to the Army to lend support for meeting the oxygen requirement for COVID-19 hospitals all across the country.

The first demand received by the Indian Army is for 32 wagons. The first rake is going to leave Panvel for Visakhapatnam for filling Oxygen later today.
Over the next couple of days, Indian Railways is going to run an ‘Oxygen Express’ transporting liquid oxygen as well as oxygen cylinders. The decision comes in while the country’s health system is running out of breath over the increased demand for oxygen.
