Skipper Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians to a 49 run victory against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday. Batting first, the Mumbai Indians put up 195 on the board at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
In reply, KKR were stopped at 146 for nine.
After losing Quinton de Kock early, Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav put up a 90 run partnership. Suryakumar was dismissed for 47. Hardik Pandya and Saurabh Tiwary played cameos of 21 and 18 respectively. Kolkata tried to pull things back by removing Rohit, Hardik in quick succession even as Mumbai added 48 runs in the last five overs at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
