With Jurassic World: Dominion hitting the theatres yesterday, on June 10th, we have prepared a list of juicy tidbits from its predecessors, that’ll have you armed with all the cool information on your favourite (and not-so-favourite) characters. Don’t you worry, if you aren’t ready to rewatch “Jurassic Park” and “Fallen Kingdom” before you book your tickets for this beastly spectacle- we got your back! Spoiler alert, in case you haven’t watched the aforementioned films.
All the Dinosaurs have been let loose in the world
In “Fallen Kingdom” towards the end, Maisie Lockwood freed all the dinosaurs from the Island of Isla Nublar and let them escape from there to prevent them from burning to death. Will this prove to be a good decision on her part as we enter “Dominion”? Something tells us not!

Dr. Henry Wu tried extracting dinosaur specimens from Isla Nublar before the island’s destruction
Mischievous geneticist Dr. Wu was up to his old tricks again in the “Fallen Kingdom”, even as his lab exploded just as he was dragged off it towards the end of the movie. What is successful? You bet, as we see an unknown person open a box full of dino DNA while aboard a plane as the movie closes.
Maisie Lockwood is a Human Clone
Yes, it seems reptiles weren’t the only area of interest for the crazy geneticists in this series- as it is found out in “Fallen Kingdom” that Maisie who was introduced to us as the granddaughter of Benjamin Lockwood, is in reality nothing but the clone of his daughter, Charlotte!
The Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park aren’t supposed to be breedable
We find, in the first film, that all dinosaurs in the Park are female, as a safety precaution- to prevent any possibilities of breeding and multiplication. Of course, protagonist Ian Malcolm shares his misgivings- that life always finds a way, and that the animals will find a way to breed if they want to. We concur, Ian.

Owen Grady is an animal behaviourist
It turns out that violence and mayhem isn’t the only language that the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park like to communicate in. We see this in the dinosaurs’ interaction with Owen Grady, as they trust him sensing that his motives are benign, unlike that of some of his species!
Blue is on her own trip
Blue was Owen’s velociraptor friend and the cause for many a teenager seeking out reptiles as pets since this movie came out! The adorable dinosaur saves Owen a multitude of times and remains incredibly loyal to him. However at the end of “Fallen Kingdom”, when Owen asks her to join him, she instead decides that it’s time for her to explore the wild on her own. We definitely hope to see more of her in the future!
Claire Dearing is an advocate for dinosaur rights
Claire, who was once-upon-a-time the park operation manager, founded the dinosaur protection group. After all, everybody needs a hug every once in a while!

Owen and Claire have found love in a hopeless place
Yes, the two dino lovers have managed to find time amidst all of the violence and pandemonium of this series to light a fire of romance in their lives. We shall be rooting for them!
