The former US president Barack Obama on Saturday took to Twitter to share his favourite songs of the year 2020. Songs of both older and new artistes featured in his list, which includes Travis Scott’s ‘Franchise’, Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Ghosts and Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating.’
“As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together,” Obama tweeted.
“I hope you find a new song or two to listen to,” he added.
In another tweet, the former president shared his favourite movies and shows of 2020.
“Like everyone else, we were stuck inside a lot this year, and with streaming further blurring the lines between theatrical movies and television features, I’ve expanded the list to include visual storytelling that I’ve enjoyed this year, regardless of format,” he tweeted.

His list included “Mank” by David Fincher, ‘Soul’, an animated movie by Pixar and one of the most applauded documentaries ‘Time’.
His TV shows recommendations are also no less than a treat. He had included ‘I May Destroy You’, a drama by Michaela Coel and Netflix’s record-breaking series ,’The Queen’s Gambit.’
