Christopher McQuarrie, the director of ‘Mission Impossible 7’, has finally reacted to the rumours that he met Indian star Prabhas for the film in Italy.
Responding to a user
who asked if he could confirm whether Prabhas had been roped in for a key role,
the director said he had never met Prabhas.
“While he’s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to
the internet”, McQuarrie tweeted.

The rumour reportedly started snowballing into speculation on Twitter after a tweet from a fan account.
The seventh ‘Mission Impossible’ film will see Tom Cruise return as Ethan Hunt, the special agent known for his high-voltage, fast-paced action sequences.
The movie was scheduled for an early 2021 release but it got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak last year. The shooting of the film resumed in September 2020.

Apart from Cruise, the cast also includes Ving Rhames, Simong Pegg, Indira Varma, Rob Delaney among others.
Meanwhile, South Indian actor Prabhas was seen last in the 2019 film ‘Saaho’ and his upcoming projects include films like ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Salaar’ (2021) and ‘Adipurush’ (2022).
