It is
already holiday season and we all miss those outings with friends, picnics with
family and get together with our relatives in the park, on the beach or hillside. What we miss the most is the holiday spirit which was dampened by the COVID-19. While it is safe to not go out on New Year’s, you can always celebrate at home.

But staying
home doesn’t mean to lessen our celebration spirits and compromise on our
happiness. So, here are a few picnic ideas which you can adopt to make the most
of the approaching year and also to be safe.

· All-time favorite Balcony: If you want to have a small picnic
in the morning, then trust me, nothing can be better than your own balcony.
The cool breeze and the bright morning can instantly light up your family’s mood
and you don’t have to put much effort for this. Simply grab 2-3 warm blankets
to spread them on the floor, few pillows or cushions and lots of food.

Swap
your normal breakfast menu with some fancy menu and give a taste change to your
family members including sandwiches, pasta, shakes, juices, fruit salad and
some chocolate cookies for your children. Your family cannot have a better
start of their morning than this.

· Evergreen Backyard: Thinking about a night picnic with
some lavish dinner for New Year but don’t want to go out. Don’t worry you can
have it all at your home. Simply head to you backyard and there is your venue.
Put up tents, tables full of lavish food under the tent and a bonfire in the
centre.

Lay chairs all around the bonfire and sit with your family. Gossips,
laughter and New Year. Seems perfect, right. You can also add barbeque to you
night picnic and enjoy the cold breeze with the warmness of your family and of course,
the bonfire. Believe me, nothing can do a better end to the first day of New
Year.

· Cozy living area: We all will agree that our living
area is the messiest place in our house and why not, this place links our whole
house together. Whether our kids playing, old parents watching TV or we
ourselves working here, most of our work is done in the living room.

But are
you aware that a perfect brunch picnic can be set up in our living room instead
of heading out anywhere. No, right? First of all clean your living area and
decorate it with lights, strings and small trinkets.

Remove the center table, sit
with your family on the carpet and lay your food in front of yourselves. Dim
all the lights and watch a movie together. This will surely become an unforgettable
moment spent with your family.
