Sensex fell 359.03 points or 0.64% to 55,566.41 and Nifty
was up by 76.85 points or 0.46% to 16,584.55.

Sensex touched a high and low of 54,925.62 and 55,369.14,
respectively. There were 14 stocks advancing against 16 stocks declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,690.75 and 16,521.90. There
were 27 stocks advancing against 21 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Midcap
index surging 0.49%, while the Small cap index was up by 0.68%. On the sectoral front,
Realty was up by 2.11%, Metal up by 1.78%, Consumer Discretionary up by 0.88%,
Auto up by 0.87% and Telecom up by 0.84% while, Power-down by 2.17%, Utilities
down by 1.95%, Bankex down by 1.06%, Oil & Gas down by 0.80%, Finance down
by 0.80% were the top losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Mahindra &
Mahindra up by 3.61%, NTPC up by 3.48%, Power Grid Corporation up by 2.06%,
Tech Mahindra up by 1.46% and Tata Steel up by 0.78%. On the flip side, Sun
Pharma was down by 3.11%, Kotak Mahindra Bank down by 2.55%, HDFC down by 2.50%,
Titan Company down by 1.67% and Infosys down by 1.54% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were ONGC up by 5.21%, NTPC up
by 4.44%, Mahindra & Mahindra up by 3.37%, Coal India up by 3.29% and Tata
Consumer Products up by 3.18%. On the flip side, Kotak Mahindra Bank down by
3.48%, Sun Pharma down by 2.61%, HDFC down by 1.81%, Reliance Industries down
by 1.55% and Shree Cement down by 1.48% were the top losers.

AIA Engineering Limited, Nippon India Mutual Fund,
CREDITACCESS GRAMEEN LIMITED, EID Parry India Limited and Fine Organic
Industries Limited have made fresh 52 weeks high on Tuesday.

Anupam Rasayan India Limited, Bafna Pharmaceuticals
Limited, Bajaj Consumer Care Limited, CMI Limited and Debock Industries Limited
have hit a 52-week low on Tuesday.

RELIANCE, TATAELXSI, BHARTIARTL, ADANIGREEN, KOTAKBANK,
JINDALSTEEL, INFY, SUNPHARMA, ADANIPOWER AND MARUTI were the most active
equities on NSE.

Dangee Dums Limited, Indo Borax & Chemicals Limited,
Vertoz Advertising Limited, Intense Technologies Limited and Omax Autos Limited
were the top volume gainers.

upper price band while 21STCENMGM, 3PLAND, ABMINTLLTD, ADANIPOWER and
ADANITRANS hit the lower price band. There were 135 securities that hit the
upper band while 72 hit the lower band on May 31, 2022.
