United States President Joe Biden has a connection with Bollywood, at least according to some social media users. Biden delivered an engaging speech last week following a deadly attack at Kabul’s international airport, which claimed the lives of 13 US service members.

Biden said in his address from the White House, “We will respond with force and precision, at our time, at the place we choose, and at the moment of our choosing” while cryptically pointing fingers at the Islamic State, who claimed responsibility for the attack.

Social media users were quick to connect Biden’s threat to Raaj Kumar’s famous dialogue from the 1991 classic Bollywood movie ‘Saudagar’. Raaj Kumar said in the movie, “Hum tumhe marenge, aur zaroor marenge, lekin wo banduk bhi humari hogi, goli bhi humari hogi aur waqt bhi humara hoga”.

Biden’s White House statements directed towards the Islamic State roughly translates to the famous line used by Raaj Kumar.

US President Joe Biden said “we will hunt you down and make you pay” to those who try to hurt America and its people, pointing fingers at ISIS. The warning came on Thursday during the presidential address from the White House following a deadly bombing at the Kabul airport.

Few days after Biden’s warning an American drone strike hit a vehicle carrying multiple Islamic State suicide bombers heading for the Kabul airport on Sunday afternoon, US Central Command spokesperson Bill Urban said, adding that a substantial amount of explosive material was present in the vehicle.

On Monday, United States Department of Defense said that the last plane carrying Americans has left from war-torn Afghanistan, ending a stretched evacuation effort and concluding the two-decade-long war, according to US media reports.

Biden is also scheduled to address the people of the United States on Tuesday after the two-decade war was concluded.
