Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap underwent an angioplasty after complaining of chest pain. His condition is stable now.

According to his spokesperson, Kashyap had complained of slight discomfort in his chest so he went to the doctor for a checkup last week. His reports revealed a few blockages in his heart.

 “Late last week, Anurag complained of discomfort and decided to get it checked at the earliest. An angiography revealed a few blockages in his heart. He was immediately admitted for surgery,”  the spokesperson told Mid Day.

The spokesperson also added that he has been advised a week’s rest before he can resume work.

On the work front, Kashyap’s next is ‘Dobaaraa’ with Taapsee Pannu. He was working on the post-production of the film from home.
