Actor Kangana Ranaut took to her social media to share a video in which she has appealed to everyone to register for the COVID-19 vaccination drive that is open for those above the age of 18 years from May 1. She also urged her fans to stay away from fake rumours surrounding the vaccines.
Citing examples of pandemics in the past due to Spanish flu, tuberculosis or plague, she said that people should take advantage of the COVID vaccine available in the country.
“This is not the time to be self-pity,” she said and asked everyone to think about health care workers who are working day in and day out to serve the people of this country. “Everyone must consider this as their own fight and not feel dejected,” she said.
The ‘Queen’ actress also revealed that on May 1 she will be getting herself vaccinated along with her family and staff members.
“Everyone must consider this as their personal fight and not feel dejected. Jai Hind!” she said.
On the work front, the actor has completed 15 years in Bollywood and will be next seen playing the role of late J Jayalalithaa in the biopic ‘Thalaivi’.
