Amid rising number of COVID-19 cases, the Delhi government on Wednesday declared cinema halls, malls, metro and religious places as super spreaders, reported ANI.
The Delhi government has instructed all DMs to increase surveillance in these areas.
The declaration comes a day after the Delhi Disaster Management Authority issued guidelines to conduct random testing (RAT/RT-PCR) at the airport, railway stations, inter-state bust terminals and other alighting points for private buses of passengers coming from states where COVID-19 cases are rising.
The guidelines have also banned public celebrations of Holi, Navratri, Shab-e-Barat and gatherings in general.
Delhi on Tuesday reported 1,101 fresh COVID-19 cases, 620 recoveries and four deaths in 24 hours.
Restrictions have been re-imposed in multiple states that include night curfew and weekend lockdowns, to stop the spread of the deadly virus.
