In what appears to be a sarcastic social media comment, climate activist Greta Thunberg on Wednesday taunted world leaders attending the COP26, saying she would compensate for the swear words she uses by ‘saying something nice’. This tweet from the 18-year-old comes two days after she was seen swearing at a rally near the UN meeting in Glasgow.

Attacking the world leaders for first allowing the damage to the climate and environment and then undertaking conservation pledges, Thunberg tweeted, “I am pleased to announce that I’ve decided to go net-zero on swear words and bad language. In the event that I should say something inappropriate, I pledge to compensate that by saying something nice. #COP26”
On Monday, the Swedish teenager was seen using terms like ‘f**k’ and ‘shove it up a***’ in a rally.
Addressing protesters across the River Clyde she said, “Change is not going to come from inside there — that is not leadership, this is leadership. We say no more ‘blah blah blah,’ no more exploitation of people and nature and the planet.”

“We say no more blah blah blah, no more exploitation of people and nature and the planet. No more exploitation. No more blah blah blah. No more whatever the f**k they are doing inside there.”
Thunberg was not invited to speak at the summit, unlike previous UN events.

She also said that she will attend a demonstration during her time in Glasgow on Friday, November 5. “Climate justice also means social justice and that we leave no one behind. So we invite everyone, especially the workers striking in Glasgow, to join us. See you there! #UprootTheSystem,” Thunberg tweeted.
