Comedian Tony Rock opened his show at Raleigh’s PNC Arena on Friday with a joke about his fellow comedian and brother Chris Rock who was famously slapped by actor Will Smith at the Oscars after making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss.

“If you think you gonna walk up on this stage, this ain’t the mother–king Oscars!” Tony exclaimed while performing in footage obtained by The Shade Room, referring to his older brother being slapped by Smith during the ceremony after making a G.I. Jane joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from hair loss condition alopecia.

“And if you walk your ass up here, you ain’t nominated for s–t but these motherf–king hands! Oh, we going to pop the rest of the year, n—a. Every time you see me do a show, pop!

“I didn’t want to start the show like that!,” he continued, throwing his hands in the air. “You gonna hit my motherf–king brother because your bitch gave you a side-eye?”

Footage from the evening of The Academy Awards shows Smith laughing at Rock’s joke until he notices his wife Jada is upset by the insult, then approaching the “Never Scared” comic and slapping him across the face before screaming, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth!”

Tony then strides across the stage, telling the audience, “Oh, it’s a lot of Rock brothers, y’all ain’t know, it’s a lot of Rock brothers.”

Chris, 57, is the eldest of seven siblings, who also include brothers Andre, Tony, 42, Brian, Kenny, 42, Jordan, 31, and sister Andi, 36. The siblings also had a late half-brother named Charles, who died in 2006.

Tony previously expressed his displeasure with Smith’s actions following the star’s lengthy Instagram apology to his brother on Monday.

When a fan asked Tony on Twitter, “Do you approve of the apology?” Tony simply replied, “No,” on Tuesday.

While Tony continues to vent about Smith’s assault on his brother, Chris appears to be moving on from the subject, even stopping a fan who yelled “f–k Will Smith” during his recent show in Boston.
