Hollywood actor Paul Rudd, who is known for playing Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, finally broke his silence and addressed a controversial question that has remained unanswered since the release of ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
For the past three years, MCU fans have wondered why his character didn’t enter Thanos’ butt in order to kill him.
In a video shared by Culture Crave on Twitter, Rudd greeted fans and then gave the long-awaited answer.
“Before we start, let me address the elephant in the room. I’ve heard a lot of chatter out there asking why I didn’t shrink down, go in, and kill Thanos in a really creative way,” he says in the clip.

“First of all, gross. Secondly, it’s much more complicated than that. Allow me to explain…” Rudd adds, and is then interrupted by Evangeline Lilly, the face of Marvel’s Wasp.
While Rudd was interrupted Lilly, his answer gives enough explanation of why his character didn’t take the rear route.
The clip is a part of an introduction video for the Disney Wish cruise line, which is set to board travelers who will be experiencing fine Marvel-themed dining known as Avengers: Quantum Encounter, as well as a ‘Star Wars’ section that will sell a special cocktail for $5,000.

Apart from the delicious food, the dining experience will also consist of some of the MCU’s greatest technology, such as Ant-Man’s Pym Particles, Iron Man’s arc reactor, and Captain America’s shield.
Meanwhile, on the big screen, Rudd’s Ant-Man was last seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The tiny hero will next be starring in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, which is slated to premiere on February 17, 2023.
