The 29th feature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will see Chris Hemsworth take on the role of the God of Thunder once more, as he continues his journey in Marvel phase 4. Many people are wondering if they can catch Thor: Love and Thunder on Amazon Prime or Disney Plus.

The fourth Thor film is expected to make its worldwide premiere on July 8, 2022. Some Asian and European countries will be receiving the movie slightly earlier on July 6 and July 7. Prior to the pandemic, the movie was originally slated to release on November 5, 2021.
The exclusive theatre release makes the upcoming action available to watch only on the big screen for now. Thor: Love and Thunder are likely to make its streaming debut on Disney Plus around 45 days after its theatrical premiere.
The movie finds Thor taking on an unlikely journey of finding inner peace. Thor will be seen going through a crisis in the film where he will be, “trying to figure out his purpose, trying to figure out who he is and why he’s a hero”. His retiral is interrupted by Gorr, The God Butcher. The movie sees Chris Hemsworth return as the titular character to team up with Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, Watiti’s Kong, and Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, who return to the franchise after being seen in Thor: The Dark World, with a brief appearance in Avengers: Endgame.

Thor has witnessed most of the Asgardian race get wiped out including his brother Loki and is now searching for a peaceful life. He takes on an evil villain Gorr, played by Christian Bale, and stops him from eliminating all gods.
At the Hollywood premiere, Chris Hemsworth, the star of Thor: Love and Thunder said, “I’ll do it until someone says get off the stage. I love it,” to Deadline. He hopes to continue the role for more films.
The fourth solo adventure for Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder, will not see the return of Loki, who died at the giant, purple hands of Thanos in the brutal opening of Avengers: Infinity War. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is likely to have an “Avengers 5 feel”.
