The Orange County Fair, which was cancelled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, is back this year, bringing people, rides, deep-fried fair food, live music, bandstand events, and spectacle, among other things, till August 15.
The 2021 Orange County Fair opened in Costa Mesa on Friday with the theme "It's Time for Fun."
The fair's daily attendance will be restricted at around 45,000 people. As a result, fair tickets must be purchased in advance online at ocfair.com or via the O.C. Fair 2021 mobile app.

In addition to capacity restrictions, unvaccinated visitors will be required to wear masks inside. On Wednesday and Thursday, the fair will open at 10 AM and end at 11 PM. On weekends, it will be open till midnight.
The annual fair was cancelled, along with many other major events in 2020, owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
The OC fair will take place from July 16 to August 15, and will be open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays. The fair will be open from 10 AM to midnight on weekends.
Before the pandemic, daily attendance could reach 60,000 people, with weekend attendance reaching 85,000.

Unvaccinated visitors will be required to wear masks inside the OC Fair buildings, according to fair authorities.
Those interested in attending must purchase tickets in advance; tickets will not be available at the gate.
There will be a lot of similarities and some significant differences when the Orange County Fair returns after a year apart due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Single-day admission prices can be found below:

General (Ages 13-59) - $12
Senior (Ages 60+) - $7

Children under the age of five are free. Food, music, and a carnival will be available for an extra charge during the fair.
