Tata Motors: The vehicle maker reported a net loss of Rs 944.6 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23, against a loss of Rs 4,441 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 79,611 crore during the quarter, 30% year-on-year growth and EBITDA rose 35.4% to Rs 5,572 crore year-on-year. Jaguar Land Rover’s revenue stood at £5.3 billion, 36% growth year-on-year.

Tata Power Company: The company announced that its subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy received the ‘Letter of Award’ from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Corporation (MSEDCL) to set up a 150MW solar project in Solapur, Maharashtra. The project will be commissioned within a year and a half from the PPA execution date.

Piramal Enterprises: The company reported a consolidated loss of Rs 1,536.4 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23, against a consolidated profit of Rs 426.5 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue grew 20.3% to Rs 1,893.7 crore against the year-ago quarter.

Pidilite Industries: The company reported an 11.3% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit at Rs 332.4 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23, impacted by weak operating performance. Revenue stood at Rs 3,011.2 crore, rising 14.6% year-on-year. EBITDA declined 9.1% to Rs 500 crore and the margin declined by 430 bps to 16.6% year-on-year during the reviewed quarter.

Gujarat Pipavav Port: The company reported a 58.5% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 72.1 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23 with revenue growing 16.7% to Rs 227.3 crore and EBIDTA rising 11.2% to Rs 121 crore against the year-ago quarter. However, the margin fell 265 bps to 53.23% during the quarter.

Happiest Minds Technologies: The company announced a partnership with Singapore-based ESG (environmental, social, and governance) solution provider- CredQuant for BFSI (banking, financial services & insurance) customers. The collaboration will help BFSI customers in addressing ESG screening, ESG rating models, sustainability disclosures & reporting, impact reporting, and carbon footprint.

Narayana Hrudayalaya: The company reported a 70% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 168.8 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23, on the back of healthy operating performance and higher top line. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 21.4% to Rs 1,141.5 crore and EBITDA stood at Rs 274.9 crore rising 51.9% against the year-ago quarter.
