In their maiden campaign in
IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans are on a dream run. They have already qualified for
the playoffs as the league toppers.

As the team gets ready to
prepare for their final fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday
at the Wankhede Stadium, GT players were visibly in a jovial mood and enjoying
the break from the game.

In a Twitter clip that went viral,
captain Hardik Pandya and vice-captain Rashid Khan joined the players for a
special rendition of the popular Tamil Song ‘Why this Kolaveri Di’. The senior
players gave Sai Sudharsan, Vijay Shankar, and R Sai Kishore company in a fun
looking musical session.

GT posted the clip on
Twitter with the caption, “Let’s have some to celebrate this special
#SeasonOfFirsts #TitansFAM, presenting our very own boy band with a song for
the ages.”

GT will take on RCB to
complete their 14-match league phase. Though the match will have little impact
on the points table, GT will look to keep their winning momentum intact.

For RCB, it is a must-win
match. If GT win tomorrow, it will be the end of RCB’s
campaign in IPL 2022 due to their poor Net Run Rate (NRR).

On Tuesday evening,
Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Mumbai Indians, and they must win the match if
they hope to keep their dream of making the IPL 2022 playoffs alive.

SRH are currently eighth on
the IPL 2022 points table with 10 points from 12 games. They need to win both
their remaining matches and hope others falter to stand a chance of making the
knockout stages.

MI meanwhile have long bowed
out of contention as they sit at the bottom of the table with just six points
from 12 games. While Hyderabad’s hopes depend on other teams dropping points, a
defeat against MI will seal their fate, knocking them out of contention for the
playoffs.
