JEE advanced results 2020 declared, here is how to check

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) on Monday announced the results of the JEE Advanced exam. The results were released on the official website of JEE Advanced at 10 am. According to official data, a total of 160,831 students had appeared for the exam this year.

“Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE (Advanced) 2020 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers,” IIT (Delhi) said in an information bulletin.

JEE Advanced Result 2020: Steps to check your results

Step 1: Visit the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on, “JEE (Advanced) 2020 Result” link.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Enter the required credentials- registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email id- and click on the submit option

Step 5: Your JEE Advanced Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen. Download a copy and take a printout for future reference.

The qualified candidates must register with the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 and fill in course choices in order to be eligible for admission in IITs. The JEE Advanced examination was held on September 27 at around 1000 exam centres across 222 cities in two slots – from 9 am to 12 noon and between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
