TNEA 2021: Tamil Nadu rank list released for engineering admissions

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) rank list was announced on
September 14, 2021, by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE). To check
the rank list, candidates can visit the official website of TNEA i.e.
tneaonline.org. But for that candidates will be required to log in with their
e-mail address and password.

TNEA is a
centralised admission process for undergraduate engineering studies (BTech
courses). This year a total of 440 colleges have been added to counselling and
the seats available at those colleges are 1,51,870.

The TNEA
examination is conducted for those students who want to take admission in
Undergraduate engineering courses ( B.Tech). After the successful completion of
TNEA registration and counselling
process, the seat will be allotted to the respective student.

Candidates
can download the TNEA 2021 rank list by following the below steps:
Step 1: Go
to the official website at tneaonline.org
Step 2: Sign
in with your email ID and password
Step 3:
Download or take a screenshot of the list of TNEA 2021 for future
reference
TNEA
2021 counselling will first be offered to candidates in the Special Reservation
category.
“Special
Reservation Counselling will be conducted between September 15 and September 24
details will follow,” as per the notice released on the official website.

Applicants
selected from the TNEA rankings are eligible to apply for online counselling.
TNEA will begin counselling special categories and then they will conduct general
counselling.
The General
counselling process details will be announced in the coming days. The general counselling
round means online counselling for academic and vocational courses, fee payment
for registration, choice filling, tentative
allotment, confirmation of tentative allotment and provisional allotment.
The
tentative allotment list will be released after the rank list. Students will have
to confirm the allotment option of the final institution. However, the branch
allotment will be determined by the TNEA authorities. Students will be required
to report to their final designated institutions.
