The ceremony will be broadcast live on live.Grammy.com as well as the Academy’s Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok channels. However, there is one question that has kept us awake at night for months. Will Beyonce surpass all other artists in terms of Grammy nominations? Let’s see what the chances are:

Jay-Z is at the top of the list

Beyonce is currently ranked fourth among all Grammy nominees with 79 nominations over the course of her career. Her husband Jay-Z, who received 83 nominations, is at the top of the list, closely followed by Paul McCartney (81) and Quincy Jones (80).

Beyonce is currently only four nominations behind the leader, but there is a problem: Due to his work on Renaissance, Jay has a chance to receive at least two nominations. He co-wrote “Break My Soul,” a likely song of the year nominee, and he would also be nominated for album of the year as a songwriter on the album.

Beyonce will need at least six nominations to tie him and seven nominations to overtake him. She could receive about nine nods, giving her the lead. Beyonce’s critically acclaimed album “Renaissance” may also be a contender for Album of the Year, while “Break My Soul” has a chance of being nominated for Record and Song of the Year. (Moreover, let’s not lose sight of the big picture here: A married couple could soon be No. 1 and No. 2 on the list of all-time Grammy nominees. Astounding.)
