‘Baahubali’ director SS Rajamouli tests positive for coronavirus
- His family also tested COVID-19 positive
- They are showing no symptoms currently
- The director was last shooting 'Rise Roar Revolt'
‘Baahubali’ fame filmmaker SS Rajamouli and his family have tested COVID-19 positive and are currently home quarantined. He took to Twitter on Wednesday to share the news.
The Telugu filmmaker said, “My family members and I developed a slight fever few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors.”
He added, “All of us are feeling better with no symptoms but are following all precautions and instructions… Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma…”
Before the coronavirus pandemic, the director was shooting his upcoming film, ‘Rise Roar Revolt’ starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. Said to be made on a massive budget of Rs 400 crore, the remainder of the film is set to be shot on a Hyderabad set.
A few weeks back, Tamil actors Vishal and Aishwarya Arjun tested COVID-19 positive. Both had have since then recovered.
