‘Basketball Wives’ star Brooke Bailey‘s daughter Kayla Nicole Bailey died on Sunday after sustaining injuries in a car accident, Pop Culture reported quoting sources. Details of the accident have not been released.
Bailey announced the death by sharing a photo of her daughter on Instagram on Sunday night.
“Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey. This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon,” she captioned the image.

Her friends and fans flooded the comments section of the post with condolences.
“So so sorry for your loss. God please cover their family in the name of Jesus,” one person commented.
Another person wrote, “Brooke you have my complete condolences. May God give you strength baby.”
“Omg beautiful I’m sooooo sorry! My prayers are with you im lifting your name high tonight in prayer,” another user commented.
“I am so sorry Brooke, may the lord cover you and comfort you.. I’m here always love you,” wrote a user.

Bailey also changed her Instagram bio to include a tribute to her daughter.
“Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/97 – 9/25/22”, she wrote, along with a purple heart and dove emoji.
She also shared several photos of her daughter throughout the years on Instagram stories.

Bailey tied the knot with Ronnie Holland in 2014 and renewed their vows in 2016. They, however, split around 2021.
“Wife sounds better than girlfriend, but single sounds better than stupid. Yes. I’m single,” she reportedly wrote on Instagram story while confirming the separation.
She participated in the series ‘Basketball Wives’. The women on the show were either the wife, ex-wife or girlfriend of an NBA superstar.
