Comedian Bharti Singh’s husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa arrested by NCB in drug case

Haarsh Limbachiyaa, the husband of comedian Bharti Singh, was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday, news agency ANI reported. Singh was arrested on Saturday.
The couple along with two others arrested in the case would be produced before a court here after their medical examination, he said.
A case has been registered against the accused under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, he added.
The NCB raided the production office and house of Singh on Saturday and recovered 86.5 grams of marijuana from both places.
Following the raid, both Singh and her husband were questioned by the NCB and the duo accepted charges of consumption of marijuana.
“Singh’s name had cropped up during the interrogation of a drug peddler,” an NCB official said.
The NCB started investigating drug use in the Bollywood fraternity following Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput death by suicide at his Bandra home on June 14, 2020.
Bharti Singh has climbed the ladder in the TV industry appearing in many comedy and reality shows on TV. She is currently seen on the famous television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
