The American music group Black Eyed Peas recently dropped the music video for the track ‘Girl Like Me’, from their chart-topping album Translation.
With futuristic background sets and featuring Shakira, the track (and the music video) is an ode to Latina women, as the rapper Will.i.am opens with the lines “La-La-Latinas/ I want a girl like Shakira/ Esa latina está rica/ I want a familia chica que sepa vivir y que viva la vida/ I need a bien bonita/ Elegante señorita/”.
Decked in an 80s themed outfit, Shakira shows off her skateboarding skills (a hobby she reportedly picked up over the summer), as she dances around singing the refrain.

The audio for the track had reportedly been released back in June, with fans eagerly waiting for its music video.
