Deadliest spells from the Darkhold-
Spells to join the dimensions
Carnage, a psychopathic serial killer, followed the Darkhold’s instructions to an ancient temple in Indonesia, where he made a blood sacrifice and slayed Chthon’s servants. He then cast a wicked spell that used their withering life essence to open a doorway between the dimensions.
Spell that summons demonic beings
Because Chthon exists primarily outside of time, he was able to predict the advent of several great mystical beings. He put enchantments within the Darkhold to produce or summon them. Chthon placed an enchantment onto all these mystical entities, binding them to his will.
Vampire and werewolf creation and destruction spells
According to Doctor Strange #61, in ancient times, a band of sorcerers on ancient Atlantis attempted to rule the world by using the Darkhold. They cast magic that resurrected their fallen opponents, meaning to exploit them as pawns, but instead they created a race of vampires, who soon turned on these early Darkholders, feeding on their blood.
Werewolves’ origins are unknown in the Marvel Comics universe, but some passages in the Darkhold hint that they, too, were created by sorcerers via a passage from the Darkhold.
