From ramp walk to flaunting baby bump, check out how Kareena Kapoor Khan made pregnancy look cool

Kareena Kapoor Khan is not only known for her acting skills, but  is also hailed for the way she has created new benchmarks for pregnant actresses in Bollywood. From working till last month of pregnancy to flaunting her baby bump on fashion runways, the actress did it all.  Even at 40, which she turned on Monday, Kareena’s bold attitude keeps growing.

Kareena refused to stop working when she was pregnant with her first child, Taimur Ali Khan. The actor shot her movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’ in October 2016, while Taimur was born in December that year.

“I have been lucky. I can’t comment for someone else. But I will pick and choose the best roles that are offered to me. I don’t look at Bollywood stereotypes. It’s a myth. I do take rest. I rest at the night and work during the day. We are going to shoot for a couple of days in October. Then I will pick up the film post delivery. I am definitely doing the film. We are working on how and when we can shoot,” Kareena had told news agency PTI in an interview.

Being the face of Lakme Fashion Week, one of the major fashion weeks in India, Kareena walked the ramp even when she was in her third trimester.

Not to miss, her appearance at chat show “Koffee with Karan” in 2017 where she over-shadowed Sonam Kapoor with her chirpy and bubbly smile. 

Kareena, who is married to actor Saif Ali Khan, was never confined to home and preferred socialising during her first pregnancy.  Seems the actress is going to repeat history again as she will start working for her upcoming movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ soon, along with Aamir Khan, while being pregnant with her second child.

In the fashion front, Kareena Kapoor Khan set a trend with her impeccable style during pregnancy. From wearing comfortable yet beautiful dresses, to walking the ramp with that big baby bump, the 40-year-old gave some major goals to every woman out there. 

Fiercely independent, not answerable to anyone, Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates her birthday on Monday. “As I enter my 40th year… I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force up there for giving me the strength and thank my experiences and decisions for making me the woman I am… Some right, some wrong, some great, some not so… but still, hey BIG 40 make it BIG,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
