Every year, Golden Globes Awards honours the American shows and films that brighten up our lives. Awards are given to celebrate good content, actors, makers, and more. This year, however, due to coronavirus, many new things will be witnessed in Golden Globes 2021. Like the Emmys, Golden Globes 2021 will also be held virtually. Moreover, this will also be the first time that the event will be a bi-coastal one, which means it will be held from two places simultaneously – New York and the usual venue in California. This has been done so that people on the East coast don’t have to travel during such times to attend the event. Postponed due to COVID-19, this year the ceremony is being held two months late than its normal schedule. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the show from two different locations. Shows like Schitt’s Creek, Queen’s Gambit, and movies like Nomadland and Trial of Chicago 7 have been nominated. Chadwick Boseman has also been nominated under the category Best Actor Male in Motions Picture(Drama). This year, the ceremony is more special than usual because shows and movies were the anchors to our sanity and these new releases will be celebrated in the ceremony.
