‘He wasn’t well…who can tell’: Sutapa’s moving post about husband Irrfan

Reminiscing the moments spent with him, actor
Irrfan Khan‘s wife Sutapa Sikdar on Friday shared a throwback video on
Facebook. The video is from the sets of Irrfan‘s last movie ‘Angrezi Medium’ in
London. In the video, the actor can be seen enjoying the iconic
song by Mohd Rafi ‘Ude Jab Jab Zulfein Teri’, while his team plays cards.
According to the post, Irrfan was not well that day but he can still be seen
smiling in the video.

“Three years ago with Irrfan’s team in London shooting. He
wasn’t well this particular day but who can tell..hated playing cards but
tirelessly witnessed reading his book and saw us playing even in the makeup
van. I crave for your indulgences Irrfan, wrote Sutapa.

In the video, when someone asks Irrfan whether he finds the
song beautiful, he nodded his head in a yes and said “ab aur bhi khoobsurat
ho gaya.” (it seems even more beautiful now)

Released in 2020, Irrfan Khan’s last movie ‘Angrezi Medium’ was a comedy-drama movie featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal. In the film, Irrfan played Champak Bansal, a sweet shop owner, and Radhika’s father, who does everything in her capacity to send her daughter to London for higher studies.
