Netizens have been left confused in what appears to be a Google search engine mess-up, which shows that actor Anushka Sharma is Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan’s wife.
This means that when someone searches “Rashid Khan’s wife” on Google, the results lead to Anushka Sharma’s name. See it for yourself.
However, there is a reason why this happened.
According to media reports, the 22-year-old spinner was asked who his favourite Bollywood actresses were in an Instagram QnA session. Khan replied that he loved Anushka Sharma and Priety Zinta.
This led media and fans associate his name to that of Anushka in reports and other posts, leading the search engine giant display the currents results.
The 32-year-old is, however, married to Indian skipper Virat Kohli since 2017. The couple is expecting their first child at the moment.
Anushka was recently spotted at the UAE, cheering for her husband during an IPL match as he walked out of the field with an unbeaten score of 90.
