Kaley Cuoco claims ‘Big Bang Theory’ bosses added sex scenes with ex to mess with them

Actor Kaley Cuoco, who played a major role in hit CBS sitcom, ‘Big Bang Theory’ said the show bosses added more sex scenes with her ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki to mess with them, reported Mirror.

The 34-year-old played the role of Penny in the show along side ex Galecki, who played Leonard, for over a decade. While they dated in the initial years,  their romance fizzled out after two years.

Although they decided to go their separate ways in 2009, the duo had to continue working alongside each other as they played major roles in the show. 

Speaking on Dax Shepherd’s Armchair Expert podcast, Cuoco said, “We dated at the beginning of the show for almost two years. When we did the pilot and I was crushing so hard but he had a girlfriend then.”

She added, “Eventually, we got together and we were mad about each other for two years but then we broke up. Luckily Johnny and I came out of it so brilliantly and we’re closer today than we ever were.”

She admitted that when it came to filming sex scenes with her ex, show’s creator Chuck Lorre made sure to add more of them just to mess with her.

She said, “It was a little sensitive for a minute. But I just remember Chuck Lorre – the genius behind our show – I remember those weeks where our characters would be jumping in bed with each other every other second.”

“Johnny and I talk about it and I think [Chuck] did that on purpose – just to f**k with us. If I was with him, I would ask him because it came out of nowhere. All of a sudden these characters were all up on each other,” she added.
