LeBron James and Savannah’s relationship timeline

LeBron and Savannah James are basketball royalty. The two are high school sweethearts and have been together for nearly two decades. Savannah has been with James since his days as a standout high school player, she is always by James’ side, whether it be on the court or away from it.

They have three children together, whom LeBron affectionately calls “James Gang”. Here’s a look at how their story began

2002: The beginning of the love story

James was a rising superstar basket player at St. Vincent-St. Mary. Savannah Brinson was a softball player and cheerleader at another school. They got to meet by chance and James asked her out on a date and she agreed. From the next day, James started to win Savannah over and their relationship continued to grow from there until James it to the NBA. 

During James’ first season in NBA, they learned that Savannah was pregnant and soon they became parents to LeBron James Jr.

2007: A new member joins James family

As time went on, James became the nest player in the league and by 2007, the duo had another son, Bryce Maximus. James ended up becoming the biggest star in the league, and he shocked the NBA world when he joined Miami and became the biggest villain in NBA. However, James had the support of his family and they moved to Miami in 2010.

2011: LeBron and Savannah got engaged

In December 2011, James asked Savannah to marry him after 9 years of dating. She said yes and the couple got engaged. A few months later the pair exchanged their vows in a lavish three-day affair in San Diego.  In 2014, the couple welcomed a baby girl and he shared the impact his daughter has had on his life, how it changed his outlook on the world. 

2018: Becoming an LA Power Couple

Two years later, James and Savannah embarked on a new journey, as he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. For their fifth wedding anniversary, James pulled out all the stops by having songwriter/singer Daniel Caesar in his living room, it was a surprise for Savannah. This year, James has been spotted with his family a lot, he has always been a family man and constantly shares lovely moments with his family with the world.

Lately, LeBron and Savannah have been making public appearances. Most recently, they graced the red carpet with the family at the premiere of LeBron’s new movie “Space jam: A New Legacy” which was released on July 16 in theatres and HBO Max.
