On the two social media platforms, users posted the reaction of their family members when they told them that Lois Griffin, the Family Guy character has passed away. These prank tweets were pretty hard to miss if one went on Twitter yesterday.

Lois Griffin is one of the main characters on the animated hit Fox sitcom, Family Guy. She is Peter Griffin’s wife on the show and the mother of Meg, Chris, and Stewie Griffin. The beloved character is voiced by actress/comedian Alex Borstein.
When TikTok user arabellaalexis0 said ‘Lois Griffin is dead at 43’ to her family, they had no clue who she is. “I just watched her on TV last week,” the TikToker said while pulling the prank. The family members, who had no idea who Lois was, began Googling who she was, only to ask – “the character?”

The prank was pulled by another TikToker named scoopsahoy666 who tried to prank his family member, However, the prank failed spectacularly as they reacted to his fart by saying ‘smells terrible’ instead of falling for the prank.
Did something happen to Alex Bornstein?
The viral trend led many people to speculate if anything had happened to Alex Bornstein, the voice actress behind Lois’ character. However, there is nothing to be concerned about as Bornstein is doing just fine.
She is quite active on Instagram and she posted her latest video on the platform on Christmas Day. She has also appeared on her friend’s podcast, Step Out of Line.
