Netflix sets premiere date for ‘The Crown’, drops trailer for season four

Netflix has set the premiere date for the highly anticipated season four of ‘The Crown’ on November 15. The streaming service announced the news with a 30-second clip from the new season.
The upcoming season of the critically acclaimed series marks the return of Oscar winner Olivia Colman as UK monarch Queen Elizabeth II, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. In addition, the latest season will have British star Gillian Anderson as former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and newcomer Emma Corrin as Princess Diana.
In the 30-second clip, Colman says, “Something as important as the monarchy simply cannot be allowed to fail.” Princess Diana (Emma Corrin) can be seen in her wedding dress on the day she marries Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor)
Created by Peter Morgan, the production of the fourth season had wrapped up in March and will mark the present cast’s final turn as the British royal family.
