Porn star Dakota Skye dies weeks after posing topless at George Floyd mural

Adult movie actor Dakota Skye, who recently sparked a controversy after she posed topless before a mural for George Floyd, was found dead at her Los Angeles residence on Wednesday, the US Sun reported. She was 27.

While the exact cause of death is yet not ascertained. A woman named Linda Arden, who identifies herself as the deceased’s aunt, said substance abuse might have been a reason. Dakota’s real name was Lauren Scott.

“Lauren was brought up in a highly dysfunctional family involving drugs, alcohol, physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse,” Linda told the Sun.

Linda further added that Lauren’s mom also died because of drug and alcohol abuse.

According to some of Lauren’s friends, she was being targeted by several online trolls and raise concerns about its impact on her mental health, reported XBIZ.

It was also reported that Lauren was subjected to massive online trolls and hate after she posted a topless picture of herself in front of a George Floyd mural.

Many in the industry have expressed their condolences on the actor’s death on social media

“She was such a joy to be around. Here is a happy memory with the three of us,” wrote Dakota’s colleague Moutasem.
