‘Pure evil’: Vijay Sethupathi opens up about his role in Tamil film ‘Master’

Fans were quite disappointed when the release of much-anticipated Tamil film ‘Master’ got delayed due to coronavirus pandemic. The film stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead and Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. While the former essays the role of a college professor who discovers something dark, fans have eagerly been waiting for more details on Sethupthi’s character.
In a recent online interaction, Sethupathi opened up about his role in the film and gave fans some details about his character. He revealed that his character is completely evil in the film, “Pure evil. I play an unapologetic ruthless villain in Master.”
Directed by Lokesh, and music by Anirudh Ravichander, ‘Master’ also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Antony Varghese, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Malavika Mohanan and Simran in pivotal roles.
