The news that a woman named Rachael Fox was killed in a road accident on the Hollywood (101) freeway has sparked an Internet search for a television actor of the same name.

Rachel Fox, 24, who appeared in the popular TV show Desperate Housewives, trended after local media reported that 47-year-old Rachael Fox had died early on Monday morning in a car crash. The 22-year-old man who hit and killed Rachael Fox has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

There were also searches for other well-known Rachels like Rachel Campos-Duffy, who hosts the Fox News show ‘FOX & Friends Weekend’. And another Rachel Fox, an American softball coach and former player.

Rachel Giana Fox is best known for playing Kayla Huntington Scavo in the TV series ‘Desperate Housewives’. She also appeared in Disney shows ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘That’s so Raven’. Fox ha also voiced characters in video games.

At 18, Fox was named by Time magazine as one of “The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014.” She featured on the list along with people like Nobel prize winner Malala Yousufzai, Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong, singers Lorde and Shawn Mendes, Sasha and Malia, daughters of then US President Barrack Obama and TV personalities Kylie and Kendall Jenner.

“Known to Desperate Housewives fans as Kayla Scavo, the teen actress somehow found enough time between TV and movie shoots to train herself in the art of day trading: she says her investments earn her a 64% annual return. As a teen, Fox ran a blog and a video series called Fox in Stocks, in which she gave trading tips. Business Insider quoted her as saying that she earned 64% on her investments per year.

The other Rachel in searches today, Rachel Campos-Duffy, is an American TV personality who was a guest host on the popular talk show ‘The View’. She later joined Fox News and now hosts ‘FOX & Friends Weekend’.
