‘Goodfellas’ star Ray Liotta died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he had been shooting the film Dangerous Waters. His fiancée Jacy Nittolo was with him while he was working on the project. 

Liotta was best known for playing Henry Hill alongside Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 film ‘Goodfellas’. He also potrayed Shoeless Joe Jackson in ‘Field of Dreams’ and made appearances in ‘Hannibal,’ ‘Narc,’ ‘Blow’ and ‘Copland’.

He recently made an appearance in the 2019 Netflix movie ‘Marriage Story’ and the ‘Sopranos’ prequel series ‘Many Saints of Newark.’
