Elon Musk, 47, appears to relish being eccentric online. Today, Musk reposted a two-year-old meme on Twitter, which soon became a trend on the social site. The new post combined a meme and a surprise repost of his song called “RIP Harambe.”
The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX released a song on SoundCloud two years ago called “RIP Harambe,” which featured a lot of autotune and was dedicated to the gorilla from the Cincinnati Zoo whose death in 2016 sparked a tonne of memes.
Musk didn’t provide much context, tweeting only “Emo G Records” and a SoundCloud link. Though it’s unclear if Musk is singing in person, his name appears on the SoundCloud page.
