Sonam Kapoor makes 1st appearance since pregnancy announcement, flaunts baby bump

Two days after announcing her pregnancy, actor Sonam Kapoor made an appearance at a store launch in Mumbai, flaunting her baby bump. The ‘Delhi 6’ actor was accompanied by her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja and her father, actor Anil Kapoor.

For the event, Sonam, known as the OG style icon of Bollywood,  opted for a pair of blue pants and teamed it up with a matching blazer and wore a white tee underneath the jacket.

Before the launch, Sonam and her husband posed for the paparazzi. Soon, Anil joined them and the trio made their way inside. Throughout, Anand was seen holding his wife’s hand.

The 36-year-old actor took to Instagram on Monday to announce that she and her husband are expecting to welcome their first baby later this year.

“Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022,” Sonam wrote.

Anil Kapoor shared the same photos and captioned it, “Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life – grandfather. Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful! @sonamkapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news.”

The couple tied the knot in 2018. She last starred in the 2019 comedy “The Zoya Factor”, co-starring Dulquer Salmaan. Sonam will be next seen in filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh-backed thriller “Blind.”
