Swedish House Mafia, one of the first DJ trios to introduce house music to the world, have announced their reunification for collaboration with singer The Weeknd and a multi-continent music tour with fresh tracks.
The supergroup announced that they will be making appearances in prominent cities like Houston, Madrid, London, Las Vegas, Paris, Miami and Toronto. The trio recently dropped a new track, which has been tagged as ‘Moth To a Flame’, which has been made alongside The Weeknd.

With hits like ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and ‘Save The World’, they were the first DJ act to sell out New York’s Madison Square Garden and got top billing at Coachella, where they have announced a 2022 comeback already.
The anticipation has been building since the three announced their reunion at a surprise set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami in 2018, but behind the scenes, it was a years-long process of getting a new label, new management and new music, according to reports from Associated Press.
Known for being perfectionists and their slow pace of recording, the pandemic gave them the time they needed as they worked in their studio in Sweden.

Canadian singer The Weeknd, who is famed for songs like ‘Blinding Lights’, shares the same management team with Swedish House Mafia. Axwell, one of the members of the group, said that the two hit it off really well and praised the Toronto-born singer’s “inspiration”.
Swedish House Mafia seem to have taken their musical journey back to its original ways. With an album called ‘Paradise Again’ slated for next year, the group released two singles in 2021. The songs, which showed up on the Top 15 of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, were ‘Lifetime’ and ‘It Gets Better’, according to reports from Associated Press.
