American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is finally making her graduation dream come true in a blue gown and a little black dress.
On Wednesday, the 32-year-old began prepping for the commencement ceremony of New York University, an event where she will receive her honorary doctorate and will deliver a speech.
Before heading to the ceremony at Yankee Stadium, Swift treated her fans with a short video displaying her graduation ensemble.
The clip starts off with the ‘Blank Space’ vocalist gazing outside a car’s window. It then features her putting on leopard print heels, a black sleeveless dress, and an oversized graduation gown on top. She topped off her look with a graduation cap with a yellow tassel and her classic red lipstick.
“Wearing a cap and gown for the very first time. See you soon NYU,” she captioned the video on her Instagram handle along with three emojis.

The commencement will be celebrating the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 that missed out on their graduation ceremony due to the pandemic.
“I cannot overstate how thrilled I am to be coming together in person with graduates, parents, faculty, and honorees for NYU’s Commencement,” Andrew Hamilton, president of NYU, said in a press release in March, according to the Daily Mail.

Swift‘s appearance at the ceremony comes as a relief to her fans, who have not spotted the singer since her album, Red (Taylor’s Version), came out last year. In November, she performed on Saturday Night Live (SNL). Since then, Swift has maintained a low profile and has kept much of the details of her parties, 32nd birthday, and family time under the wraps.
