Earlier on the same day, Los Angeles braced for Swift-induced excitement as The Grove, a renowned shopping center, announced the complete closure of its complex for the event. Social media posts displayed The Grove’s iconic cobblestone streets adorned with a vast red carpet surrounding the theater, accompanied by step-and-repeat backdrops showcasing “The Eras Tour” poster. Streets around the venue were blocked off, and there was an increased police presence in the area. The neighboring Original Farmers Market assured its patrons that it remained open for business.

“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is set to open in over 8,000 theaters globally, documenting Swift’s record-breaking tour, which kicked off in March and featured a 44-song setlist spanning her diverse career albums. The concert film boasts a runtime of two hours and 48 minutes, slightly shorter than her typically three-hour-plus live shows. Swift made the exciting announcement that the film would premiere a day early in North America and Canada, with screenings commencing on Thursday night.
