Telugu language film ‘RRR’ set for October 13 release

Director SS Rajamouli’s period action drama “Rise Roar Revolt” (“RRR”) will hit the screens on October 13, makers of the film have announced.
The film, which was earlier slated to be released on January 8, 2021, stars actors N T Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan in the lead roles. The release date of the Telugu language movie was announced on the official Twitter page of the film.
A fictional tale based on the lives of two freedom fighters in early 20th century — Alluri Sitarama Raju and Kumram Bheem, the film will release in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam as well.
Charan is set to play Ramaraju, while NTR Jr will be seen in the role of Bheem. Produced by DVV Entertainment, the film resumed production in October last year with the necessary safety precautions, after filming was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt also star in supporting roles.
Other actors of the movie also shared the release date on their social media accounts.
