There is still no confirmation as to who will host the show after Noah. The network has considered some of its correspondence to be named the successor, reported Variety.
Noah made the announcement in a special message released to the public on 29 September 2022. He did an extended interview with Jimmy Falon, another popular late night show host, about his plans post the Daily Show departure.
He said that he would rather prefer to “leave when it’s still good, leave when you still love it, leave when you still have the energy to enjoy it rather than wait until people react to his departure with a dejected ho-hum.”

They also chatted about what the ‘most successful comedian in Africa’, as Noah’s website claims, meant when he said he wanted to do ‘everything, everything, everything’. Noah revealed that he wants to return to the stand up comedy scene whilst also produce news content, examine “news stories with a longer lead, with a bit more patience, [and] with a bit more time to build a little more context.”
Noah’s popularity rose when he took over “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” as the host, post Stewart’s retirement. Noah is well known for making political commentary with a lighthearted humour, which allows the audience to laugh and also ponder over the political menace of the world.
